Seeing as the internet now has a huge role to play in modern culture, it is not surprising that cyberspace is almost like a second world within itself, especially when we consider more recent additions to the phenomenon such as Second Life. Cyberspace enables users to communicate with each other in a way that simply wasn’t possible twenty years ago as large distances and oceans separated people. We can make friends, find potential partners and join groups because of cyberspace.

Because of sites such as message boards, we are also now able discuss specific topics with other fans of such things. Movies, games, musicians and anything else you can think of have their own message board where fans can discuss the most specific of topics.

But the internet does not just bring people together; it is also makes life simpler. In the increasingly busy world we live in it is good to know we can shop, bank and do almost anything over the internet. We can also watch, create and comment on our own videos and network ourselves in way that used to be completely impossible.
